Affirmations to Change Your Life
Hello lovey! Do you sometimes just stumble through your days and never really consider your thoughts? Or maybe you stumble through your day with terrible thoughts? Maybe you tell yourself horrible things about yourself? Do you know that your thoughts bring about the things that come to you in your life? It’s true. I tell my kids, “what you think about, you bring about.” So, let’s make sure you are receiving everything good, that you deserve, with these Affirmations to Change Your Life! ❤️
What is an affirmation?
An affirmation is simply, something you tell yourself. It affirms your truth. It can be good, or bad. Therefore, if you’re going to tell yourself something, let’s make sure it’s good!
Please, please, please do not talk down to yourself! Love yourself, take care of yourself. Mind, body and spirit.
How do you use affirmations?
Affirmations can be used in many different ways. One way you can use affirmations is to simply repeat them to yourself. Aloud or in your head. You can do this when you’re showering, maybe when you’re using the Grapefruit Vanilla Body Scrub! 😊 When you’re driving in the car by yourself. Or maybe in your prayer closet. I do them in all of these places! Oh, and definitely use them to change a negative thought. If you notice your mind wandering or turning to something negative or something that causes you stress, just start talking to yourself with a positive affirmation instead of the negative or stress talk.
Another way you can use affirmations is by writing them down and reading them out loud. You can use a special notebook or journal. But another great idea is to use a dry erase marker, and write them on the mirrors around your home, or you can buy some favorite post it notes and write your affirmations on them and post the stickie notes around your home. I love to do this for my family too. ❤️
One of my favorite ways to use affirmations is to tap them. Repeating the affirmations while tapping is an excellent way to really change your cellular memories, and changing those self-beliefs will bring many more blessings your way. It’s important to get to a point where you believe the good things you’re telling yourself!

You are unique and you have your own set of thoughts to correct. Use these as a launch point to get you started. Get creative. Listen to your heart. You know your true self, and you know what you need to work on. If you’re struggling with this, I would encourage you to spend a moment in prayer, or a few, asking to know what you need to work on in this moment. You will know!
I use affirmations all the time. Daily, if I dare to admit. But, there was a time, after my divorce, and after I married Dylan, that I was still struggling with being insecure. All of the drama of being divorced, rejected, then accepted; however, still a bit insecure. 😊
I knew this was something I had to break through. To work through. To get over. And I did it with affirmations and tapping. I remember floating in the pool all by myself, repeating affirmations and tapping them. Such a blessing to have the power to change your thoughts, your life!
There are several tapping points, but my favorites are the top of the head, under the nose, and at the heart. The top of the head is brain and thinking. That’s a big part of what you’re changing and healing. Below the nose is a stress release. A lot of negative emotions are tied up with stress. And the heart location, well, is just that. The heart. So much of your past, present and future is tied up in that spot. It is important to heal your heart. Release the pain, the negative, the whatever else you have stored up in there. Reprogram to greatness! Because you deserve it! ❤️
I’d like to encourage you to ponder, pray, and decide what you need to work on first.
When you’ve healed, reprogrammed, reconditioned and accomplished that first one, move onto the next. First, keep working. Second, continue progressing. Third, always keep getting better. Because you’re worth it!
Positive affirmations can be simple or more detailed. If you’re new to affirmations, I’d like to encourage you to start simple. But build on them. The building might be in a moment or a week. Do what’s best for you.
Simple daily affirmations to get you started.
- I am happy.
- I am healthy.
- I am wealthy.
- I am secure.
- I am worthy.
- I am positive.
- I am blessed.
- I am grateful.
- I am beautiful.
- I am confident.
- I am courageous.
- I am excited.
- I am loved.
- I am enough.
- And the most important one of all… ❤️ I totally and completely love myself!
Just use these as a launching pad.
Elaborate on them, and customize them to fit you and what you’re going through. ❤️ Change your thoughts. You have the power, and I am so proud of you! You will go through many things in your life. These affirmations will change according to what you are dealing with in a specific moment.
Use affirmations to change your foundational thoughts. Always think and talk to yourself in a positive, forward movement kind of way. See the positive changes in your life. Love yourself!
